Exciting career opportunity for a job seeker with past insurance agency experience or looking to break into the insurance industry! 

Norwood Insurance Agency is looking for a Customer Service Representative with 3–5 years’ experience. Applicants should be self-motivated, detail-oriented and customer centric.

Ideally, you would have following credentials (but, we are willing to train the right candidate)

The Basics:

  • Excellent phone, email and interpersonal communication skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with customer service experience
  • Microsoft Office skills and a good understanding of and ability to adapt to new technology


  • Insurance agency employment experience
  • General understanding of the insurance industry (home, auto, business, etc.)
  • Ability to cross/upsell additional lines of business with current clients

  • Experience with Agency Management systems (Vertafore AMS360)
  • A Massachusetts Property and Casualty Insurance License (does not need to be current)
  • Experience in selling and/or servicing insurance clients
